Petreaus Testimony - Duncan Hunter's El Salvador

OK, I can completely understand the way the press vilifies MoveOn.Org - after all, this IS an organization that TELLS THE TRUTH - the American Press has NO CHOICE but to try to destroy them - but what I DON'T understand is why a GOP Presidential candidate can just start off on an anti-reality rant from hell about El Salvador and our "involvement" there!!!

Hellooooo...?

Maybe Ducan Hunter actually IS that stupid, I mean, who knows the true depths of actual Republican stupidity, they've been faking it so long that even their own national Party leaders don't know who's "in the know" and who isn't - but I happen to KNOW (for A FACT!) that there are real reporters out there who actually DO KNOW parts of the truth about that particular issue. El Salvador was a nightmare - by anyone's standards. Here's a reminder: Torture? ...murder? ...mass graves? ...overthrowing popular and democratically elected leaders in support of some god-awful "war on Latin American communism"? Don't ANY of these things ring any bells?

Lookit - THIS IS THE EL SALVADOR OF DUNCAN HUNTER'S PSYCHOTIC DELUSIONS! - click HERE to smell the conservative Republican fire and brimstone!

I'm waiting (but not very patiently) for the once-vaunted "American Free Press" to stand-up and say something.

Any reporter brave enough, honest enough and sufficiently connected with reality to stand-up and actually take Duncan Hunter on - PUBLICLY - with all of the well-established facts ON THE SIDE of TRUTH and JUSTICE might be exempted from the historians pen and their finger of blame when Bush's American Fascism Era is finally written and recorded for all time.

I'm betting that Amy Goodman from WorldLink TV will rise to the challenge - Keith Olbermann no doubt WOULD cover the story - I think that he'd probably LOVE TO do it - but I'm betting that the MSNBC network, including Chris Matthews and Bill Gates - would LITERALLY burn down their own TV news facilities and broadcasting studios before they'd EVER let Keith Olbermann slip the truth into any part of the dirty joke known as America's "intervention" in Latin America.

...El Salvador, my ass...
