Richard Land is an Idiot

Why do faith-based people only find the stupidest, most dishonest people to be "credible"? Is there some magic word or phrase, some shiboleth, that these con-men use to imitate "the ring of truth"? I ask because it just DOES NOT WORK on us thinking, rational, logic and reality-based people.

I just caught about 10 minutes of Richard Land on the car radio, pitching his "let's go to war with Iran" sales proposal and he doesn't know his Sunni-side-up from his Jack Shiite. I didn't hear EVEN ONE CORRECT ASSERTION in his little Old Timey Radio "Jesus wants a bunch of your kids dead" big ol' FM radio broadcast full of lies. ...not one thing he said was true, accurate or correct.

To start off, al Qaeda is NOT a Shiite Muslim movement, it's Sunni. Usama bin Laden is a Sunni. THAT should come as a big, massive HUGE revelation to Dick Land's mindlessly hordes of ignorant listeners and followers.

Richard Land DAMN SURE has it ALL WRONG.

...and that's just a FACT, people, it's NOT an assertion, it's not an allegation and it's not an argument. The difference? You can Google a fact and confirm it by checking the overwelming majority of credible, reliable experts. You can't do that with lies nor intentional missinformation and disinformation.

I don't excuse these religious people - not the Dick Lands NOR their Dick-Headed Little Lambs - by just saying "oh, they can't help it, they're just stupid" - because the library is open - the exact same hours - FOR EVERYBODY! We liberals don't get a special secret code that lets us into the correct information room.

THESE people are stupid because they CHOOSE it - as a lifestyle choice.

All these right-wing dolts need to do is read a book or two. ...make that a *NON-FICTION* book or two. They should all try something by Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky, even James Bamford or George Clooney's new buddy, that former CIA agent named Robert Baer. His writing is EXCELLENT and he endeavors to be very honest with his readers - even when that's not the easy (nor the popular) thing to do.

Seriously, all you Christian right-wingers: stop letting these con-men-of-the-cloth screw you. (and your kids!) You are SERIOUSLY embarrassing the rest of us. People all over the world see YOU MORONS and they just naturally extrapolate all of that silly-$hit you say and do into an assumption that ALL of us Americans are just as ignorant as YOU are - so just STOP IT already, will ya'?
