This is EXACTLY why WE LIBERALS are the ONLY ONES who can really take-on religious right-wing extremism. Now that this has been established and publicly demonstrated as well-proven fact, will the GOP please sit down and FINALLY take a break? Just take a pause for the cause, will ya'? - Sit back, relax and enjoy a nice big steaming cup of shut-the-fuck-up.

This isn't an "anti-Iranian"-thing, this isn't an "anti-Islam"-thing, this isn't even an "anti-Iranian President"-thing - this is anti-theocracy, anti-conservative, anti-fascism thing. The American people, the Iranian people, the Iraqi people, the Palestinian people, the Israeli people and the people of Afghanistan all have this one thing in common: We all currently live under oil-fixated, pro-corporate, pro-military, pro-religion governments which have been taken over, co-opted or disproportionately manipulated by the far-right. We're all in THAT boat together. As far as I can tell, the fundamentalists are working together while pretending to hate each other. THAT's why it was a good thing that the Iranian President stood in front of a large audience of mostly liberal intellectuals and caught some heat.

Now, if we could just get OUR right-wing asshole - George Dubya Bush - to go speak at the University of Tehran, I bet that the smart, well-informed, intellectual Iranian youth and their best, most-liberal college professors could return the favor! I'd LOVE to see George W. Bush stand up take the questions (and the heat) from an auditorium full of Iranian college students!

...slim chance of THAT ever happening, Dubya is more of a cowardly litle chickenshit than their guy is. Bush won't even speak in open forums at AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES!
