From Nazi to Republican in One Generation

James M. Olin absolutely loathed and hated The Ford Foundation for it's centrist-to-moderate social, economic and political views, as well as it's causes, issues and activities. (The current ACLU director, Anthony Romero was with The Ford Foundation before coming to the ACLU) Conversely, Mr. Olin deeply admired the OLD Pro-Nazi ideologue version of Henry Ford or, as his friend Adolph Hitler commonly referred to him, "Heinrich Ford". When John Olin divided up his funds and demanded that they all be used within one generation, he cited the "liberal drift" of The Ford Foundation for his decision to get recipient individuals and groups to agree to spend all of the Olin Foundation grant money as soon as possible. Ergo, this list is LITERALLY a 'chain-of-custody' money trail of the funds and financial assets from a pro-Nazi, openly pro-fascist man and his right-wing, pro-Republican foundations. How many of these names do you recognize?

Partial List of John M. Olin Grant Recipients

Dinesh D'Souza
Samuel P. Huntington received a grant to write the book Clash of Civilizations.

John Lott

Gun controversy
The John M. Olin Foundation funded the John M. Olin Fellowship at University of Chicago. While serving in the position professor John Lott produced a study that argued that relaxing concealed weapons laws can reduce crime. The study was attacked by gun control supporters for its funding from the John M. Olin Fellowship and its relationship with the Olin Corporation, though one commentator noted that this was akin to claiming that the Ford Foundation serves the interests of automakers.[2]

(Damn, what a silly rebuttle to use just to screw-up a perfectly good argument!)

We already have a model to use to bring these people down, it worked great in ridding the federal government of the presence of one of John M. Olin's ideological blood-brothers, Congressman J.D. Hayworth.
